everything was fine the staff where very helpfull
Upon arrival the hotel looked tired and run down, there was broken car glass in the car park, the staff were rude and the lifts were not working properly. The room was very basic and had definately seen better days, the bed was the worst i have ever had the misfortune to sleep in. The matress was only about 5 inches thick and extremely uncomfortable. I went down to breakfast the following morning and the having been told the lifts were fixed used it, it got stuck between floors for a minute which was quite disconcerting, the breakfast was not something i would like to experience again. When i complained about the room i was told to like it or lump it it.
The price was good and the breakfast good value
Was in a convenient location for our purposes - easy access to major routes
Is ideal for attending any events at the Windmill Village across the road.
Hotel is very outdated and shabby looking, but at £29 a night was OK.
It is a basic 60's hotel but friendly, low cost and in a good location. The rooms are comfortable but not overly clean especially behind the bedside cabinet e.g found a dusty old sock! Overall I would stay there again despite the smelly sock! lol
We stay at least once a year and rooms are always excellent and staff very polite. We will be back again next year for sure. Excellent value for money and location great for N.E.C.
Convenient for visiting relatives
Lumpy bed. Low quality tea and coffee, cheapest sausages they could find, although the majority of the breakfast was ok. With a bit of effort the general "tiredness" of the hotel could be rectified.
Clean tidy hotel within easy reach of city centre.
Staff were excelnt very friendly.

Difficult to answer witout being critical
The hotel belongs in the 70's
I like the fact that there was a bath and a shower in my room and everything else was as i expected.
The room was very cold as heating was blocked by curtains and draught from windows.
Always good when I stay at this hotel
Breakfast was good value, and the system of serving was good, despite of the number of coach parties.
Sorry, no lifts working.
